iPhone 5 Set For September 5 Launch according to Swisscom?
http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.iphoneitalia.com%2Fswisscom-iphone-5-solo-ad-ottobre-269317.html

"According to a senior executive of Swisscom, for obvious reasons we can not mention, the Swiss provider that has previously sold the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3G, iPhone sales will begin from October 5.

The same source tells us that the iPhone will be launched in September 5th, only to be launched in all states only in October. The manager says 100% sure of the above, because Apple would have already contacted the main mobile operators to agree on how to distribute the iPhone 5.

That voice, that voice is as though the source is so important always miss the official, on the one hand confirms one thing now obvious, namely that the iPhone will be launched in September 5th, the other raises doubts about its actual availability, which would no longer be scheduled for late September, but directly for the month of October.

Thanks Vincent!"

I'd bet against that date. I expect it in September/October but doing it on a holiday is not a good idea. A lot of retailers still actually close on Holidays, believe it or not.

At any rate I hope it comes soon. I'm going to need a gadget fix to get my mind off of work and school.

Any guesses as to whether AT&T will allow early upgrades this time around like they did last year for iPhone 4s?

Bought my iPhone 4 EXACTLY a year ago today, so if it gets released in Sept-Oct my iPhone 4 will be 1 year and 2 months old.

Not the retailers that matter in this case.
