I ordered mine on the 19th, it's still processing. Apple.ca
 
I'm starting to think the carriers are booking massive orders (well, duh) in advance - Apple knows there's going to be a supply chain constraint for awhile; therefore the carrier that is willing to purchase the biggest block of phones from Apple that will last them 6-9 months out (like, a block of 4-6 million phones), gets the bigger allotment.

This offsets a potential earnings miss if Apple can't produce enough phones for the quarter to demonstrate on-target year over year growth on the quarter. Don't get me wrong, I think the iPhone 5 will be the most (financially) successful product in Apple's history. I'm just a bit fascinated by the supply constraint. This is like nothing I've ever seen, even for Apple.

Mine shipped apparently on Sunday, but the UPS tracking has said "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated" since. Anyone else seeing this? Should I be concerned?
 
Seems like people who ordered from at&t/verizon as opposed to from apple online are getting them faster :(. I originally ordered from at&t, but then cancelled and ordered from apple thinking that would be faster, but seems that I'm wrong.

Car Charger?

This is a bit off-topic but any word on a car charger being released with the new lightning charger? Getting a little tired of schlepping my wall charger with me to work every day. Thought one would be available by now.

Buy a lightning to USB, and a car USB adaptor that plugs in. Then combine.
 
Ordered iphone 5 from ATT store 10/5 64GB black, got phone yesterday 10/10. Shipped from TX Dallas area to LosAngeles CA. Phone got visible 3 scuff marks at edge (top, right side) :(. Return to Apple store? Inspect your phone upon receiving it.
 
Joined to post my experience with our AT&T business account, as there doesn't seem to be much of those in the thread:

All ordered via business account rep, early morning 9/14:

- 2 black 16 gig scheduled to arrive tomorrow (10/12)
- 4 white 16 gig still on backorder

What :( I ordered mine back in September at the AT&T Store and still waiting. Honestly I probably ordered the more commonly requested model (16GB Black) is why I am waiting.
