Hey guys, my iPhone 5 loud speaker stopped working the other day. However, when I blow on it, it comes on for a bit with static and then stops working again. This confirms that it must be a hardware problem.

The kicker is I'm on iOS 6.1.2 and jailbroken and I do not want to lose my jailbreak - so getting a replacement through Apple isn't my ideal solution right now.

Has anyone eles experienced this? Do I have to replace the speaker or are there just loose connections? I'm planning to get a can of air sprayer and try to blow out any dust inside it.

Thanks guys!
