Looking to buy the iPhone 5 off of contract through Verizon. I see it's unavailable through best buys site. Is it whatever the store has in stock or are they all gone now?

probably only though any store that may have leftover stock of them, unless they were instructed to return them to apple as unsold stock.
you may want to pick up one slightly used from the classified section here or on imore.com. you can get a decent looking one cheaper than from retailers new.

I had a hard time finding two of them one week after they were discontinued. My best buy guy claimed he didn't have them and wanted to sell me two 5C's. So I went to Target and grabbed their last two. But this was like October 1st so I doubt there's any left anywhere.
