Not to be that guy but there were two front page posts about this over the past couple days.

This one: iPhone 5 to launch at end of June
Which says what you just did.

Then this one: iPhone 5 not actually launching in June
Which refutes it using a more reliable source.

Sorry, mate.

....sorry - my bad for not reading those!!

It's cool. No one expects you to read everything - just didn't want people getting their hopes up for a June iPhone 5.

Thanks for sharing the story though, that's what this website is all about.

that's actually the best mockup i've seen.

The problem with most iPhone 5 mock ups are that they're just pulled from the imagination of the person creating the mock up. While that does look nice, it has no basis on reality.

I remember when that was a mockup of the third generation iPhone.

I hope the home button stays fysical though, they shouldn't change it to a touchbutton.

Who knows who to believe at this point. I wouldn't put any weight behind any words other than ones from Apple.

Summer, Fall, Winter? I know it's going to come eventually but the sooner the better. Really want the 8mp sensor - it's going to be a serious upgrade from my iPhone 3Gs

The current camera is a serious upgrade from the 3GS. IMO, more megapixels aren't really needed... just better sensor/lense. People need to get past the megapixel game.

My only concern for a touchscreen home button is how would you do a hard reset in case the phone freezes or simply will not start up. Otherwise, I agree that a touchscreen home button would be nice.

Besides, what if you keep on accidentally touching the touch-screen button? Nice concept, but not practical. Maybe in 20 years time, when there's iPhone 25...

i like the physical home button: i can tell which end is up in a dark room or from my pocket.

I like the physical home button because I use it to unlock my phone, which I assume wont work with a capacative button.

I need it too. I think if Android phones with touch buttons had little indentions wear your finger could rest, it would be better. You don't have to look down to see if you are pushing the right button. Apple does need to make it seamless though.

It's too bad this looks better than the current iphone

As someone who had a home button problem on my iPhone 4 and had a lot of trouble getting it to happen in front of a genius, I hope they do away with the physical home button. Then there are no moving parts and they can't blame it on you not hitting the button correctly.
