I'm on my third iPhone 5 now. The bar of light at the bottom of the phone. Its easy to see at an angle. Does anyone else notice this on their phones? My first 5 had it, which leads me to believe its not exactly a rare problem. It just bugs me and getting it replaced isn't exactly easy for me. Should I just live with it? BTW its in an Otterbox, but the case is not causing the problem. It does help me take my mind off of it though

Anyone else? Am I the only one with 2/3 phones with the problem?

I don't see the issue in the picture. Can you get a better one?

I don't see what you are talking about. You might just be seeing things.

Yes I'm on my third 5S due to "creamy-white" uneven screens. It's not my imagination, everyone I show can see the variations. the bummer is that unless you luck out and get a really good one it's SUCH a fight/headache to keep getting them replaced. The QC on these screens has never been consistent. The one I have now still isn't right. The contrast and temperature of white across the phone sucks. Yellow-ish bar across the top. It's very clear.

A yellowish bar at the top is called the translucent navigation bar.
It's a feature of iOS7 and the new design.
The content shines through but looks blurred.

No, I wish it was the other content shining through. Unfortunately it's there (on the left/right side) with the phone in landscape also. It's undoubtedly the screen itself.

    It was a joke, nevermind.

What you see there is polarization, that's all.
If you mean something else, try to describe it in other words.

The picture of your display looks fine.

(Pixels are switched on and off by a polarization filter. If you look at this filter from an angle it stops working.)
