iPhone 5 Usage stats blank (see pic) help!

This is what my iPhone 5 is showing despite my draining and recharging to full. Has anyone experienced this before? What did you do to resolve it?

Did you do a hard reset since its been off the charger?

Why would I do that and how do I do that? Will I lose data/settings?
