But isnt the nanosim also thinner?
So would you need to shave off some of that plastic to fit it in the iphone 5 tray or does the cutter do that?
It doesn't look like the cutter does that...it looks like it just trims the plastic down so it looks like you still have to shave it down.

According to the below article, you won't be able to cut Micro-SIM's as the Nano SIM cards are 15% thinner and won't be able to fit in the iPhone 5 Nano-SIM slot. None of my country's carriers have issued Nano-SIM cards yet and they don't have any updates on when they will do so I was hoping I could cut a Micro-SIM but it has been confirmed by Giesecke & Devrient that it can't be done. Is the Nano-SIM card process fast or does it require time for a carrier to release them?

Okay so nano sim for now and it will continue getting smaller and smaller. Now i need to buy new sim adapter and my old iphone's charging cables couldnt use anymore too. -.-
