I have just ordered a Verizon iPhone 5 from Gamestop. (Refurbished) I heard that all Verizon phones come unlocked out the box. But I haven't a clue if weather or not mine is... I really want to go to Tmobiles prepaid service but I don't know if it can be turned on at t-mobile. Can it? and are there any limitations if it can be??

Yes the Verizon iphone 5 will work on TMobile but it won't be fully compatible and you may be disappointed in data coverage since:

- no TMobile LTE
- no AWS 4G (the bulk of Tmobile 4G is currently on AWS band)
- "4G" in refarmed 1900 areas only

If you bought the 5S Verizon then it will be fully compatible with TMobile fyi.

Well actually all of T-Mobile's LTE towers also run PCS 1900 MHz for 3G and 4G HSPA+ 21, so the thread starter will most likely get speeds up to 21 Mbps, which is still great.

Not necessarily. I got around 1 to 3 MB download, and many times in the kb range, so I returned to Verizon. It depends on where you live, work and visit.

Thanks

Well, thanks you guys!:) its ended up working perfectly!:)
