iPhone 5 volume suddenly dropped

My iPhone 5's has suddenly dropped. It's now really low/muffled when playing music or in a call. The volume is up to the last by volume buttons and in the settings menu. I have restored without any luck. Any ideas as I really don't wanna have to send it back to Apple 🙁
