iPhone 5 or earlier iPhone 5 Wallpaper - Wood Only

New to photoshop and have had some success. But I have been trying to layer the image below on to the wood background without losing its quality.

If someone can do it for me and pm me a short tut on how it would greatly be appreciated.

Yes!!!! How'd you do that? Was trying for 15 min with multiply, darken and overlay.

I use soft light. That's usually the best. And then I duplicate the layer and change the brightness/lightness and contrast until it looks just right.
