I felt like donating to the leather craze, although my quality is nowhere near the rest.

I'm not exactly 100% sure why all of you guys have to crop the photos to match the resolution of the iPhone display completely. Most of the time I never resize it to perfectly fit my screen because I like to be able to pinch and zoom into the area that I want to display instead of limiting myself to what it shows on the screen. For example take this image which is directly off of my Nikon D800E But saved as 1600x on the long end. Whenever I use this as my wallpaper, I get the entire scene as it was captured with the camera minus a little bit missing on the sides. That is not a big deal compared cropping it down to 1136 x 640 and loosing details on the top, bottom, and sides. Kind of a waste in my opinion.

With wallpapers, you don't have the ability to pinch and zoom, whether it's a lockscreen or a page with icons. Wallpapers are stationary. Cropping to fit with the most important part of the photo showcased just makes sense. :)

Here's a couple more in the spirit of the Apple event today. :) :apple:

Hey cdcrowell! Can you please make me a Michigan Wolverines version of your wallpaper style. They are look awesome! I'd appreciate it a lot!

cdcrowell, any chance of getting a Notre Dame version of your wallpaper? I'm looking for one with just the ND logo, not the leprechaun.

Is it possible that someone could make a few different Milwaukee Brewers ones (old school logo) like the sports ones with the grey backgrounds? I think that grey background design is awesome. Also Wisconsin badgers if you have the time, gotta support the home teams!! Keep up the great work guys, we all appreciate it!!!

Any los angeles clippers wallpapers?

here is some more

That's not entirely accurate. I can save a photo at a resolution of 1840 by whatever load it onto my phone, open that image then click on use as wallpaper and pinch and zoom and move to scale anywhere I want it to go. I don't know where you get the idea that their stationary since the iPhone allows you to move and scale the image to your liking When the resolution is bigger than 1136 x 640

Of course the photo can be manipulated a wee bit when choosing to set it as wallpaper. I misunderstood what you were talking about.

Someone else please speak to this. Why do you want your pix resized?
