I keep having trouble with my wifi and I wanted to know if anyone else has had the same problems or know any solutions.

I can connect to a network the first time no problem, but if I leave that wifi then come back my phone won't connect. I have to "forget" the network then re-enter the password every time. Its annoying.

Any help would be great. I'm not really able to make it to the genius bar for help for another few weeks so i'd like to be able to fix it on my own.

Do you have "Ask to join network" turned off? If yes, have you rebooted phone? If yes, go into settings, general and reset network setting. If it still doesnt work, connect to itunes and restore as new. Apple will make you do that anyway.

Unfortunately I've done all that. Seems it must be something a little bit more serious.
I suppose I just have to wait until I get close to an Apple store again.

I'm not sure if this is the same problem I had but it sounds similar. Mine was solved by not selecting the network from the list, but selecting "Other..." and entering the network name and password manually.

Try reset router

By chance are you using an AirPort Extreme? I was having the same sort of problem but was resolved with an update the other day. You have to manually check for updates...

i had the same problem with my wifes iPhone 5. returned it before the 14 day grace period. got a new one. had them check to make sure the wifi was active before i left. hopefully you can return yours
