i got another phone over CL its iPhone 5 32gb. i verified the serial and it has applecare+. the phone is in good condition but there is a scuff and scratches (OCD kicking in)

can i just walk to apple store and tell them to replace it? i don't see any fault except for these marks at the back and I'm annoyed by it.

i understand that i will pay $49 or $79 not a big deal. I'm just concern walking in and tell them that it has scratches and i want a new one.

AppleCare+ will let you exchange your device up to 2 times for accidental damage. Scuffs are accidental damage, so no problem there.

It is a complete waste of one of your two replacement options under the plan but you can do it if you want.

so do i need to show them something like applecare card? or just show the phone and it will reflect on their database?
