sales people know about as much as the rest of us. All they are doing is saying the rumors they heard from MacRumors or similiar. They know no special information.
However I am certain there will be an iPhone 5 within a month.

I was in AT&T and the guy told me iPhone 5 may or may not be totally redesigned.
I rhink he definately knows someone at Apple. It was weird how much he knew. Lol!

Employees know exactly what you read online and hear on tv. Sometimes They get info on no name products prior to release. Like flip phones and non flagship phones.
