Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Please link or tell us your sources. You're talking about something that very few people could know, so why should we believe you?

I really hope this is not the case. in my opinion anything over 3.7" screen size just is not comfortable to use as a phone held up against your ear. phones should be easy to use in one hand. manufacturers chucking out 4" plus screens seem to forget that

Yeah, I just checked. There won't be an iPhone called "iPhone 5".
1st gen - iPhone
2nd gen - iPhone 3G (not 3, 3G)
3rd gen - iPhone 3G-S (take note)
4th gen - iPhone 4 (this works because the last iPhone was the 3)
5th gen - iPhone 4-S
6th gen- ....iPhone 6
Just like there was no iPhone 2, there's no iPhone 5 coming out.
It's important to look at the update of the OS with each new release. It matches.

Go look at and hold a Droid Incredible 2. My wife has it and it's no bigger then my 4S and actually quite comfortable to hold. I don't have any other experience with Android phones but I am sure there are others with a similar form factor. Iphone could have a 4" display without much change to overall size.
I think the next phone will have a 4" display. And if you want to know what it's going to look like, just wait until the iPad 3 is launched. I have a feeling the the next iPhone is going to look just like it. It only makes sense that the iPad and iPhone are going to merge into 1 uniform design.
What if they add 4g/LTE and call it the iPhone 4G or iPhone LTE ?
Fact is everyone is guessing the name and changing a threads topic to arguing about is just silly. They used the actual generation of the phone once with the 4 so it's no more or less likely to be the 5 6 or 4g or whatever.
Since we're talking about stuff we just pulled out of our butts, tell me then what do your sources say about the iPhone 17?
Can we hold you to your insider sources when it finally comes out ? And will you eat crow if you are wrong ? Just asking
Going to save this thread and pm you every day for a month after the next phone launches.
