iPhone 5C Order Status Thread!

Only the 16GB unlocked in Yellow is sold out on Apples site, with just a 5 day delay. Almost immediately after pre-orders started Sprint posted that it could take three weeks to get more.

My guess is, rather than world wide demand being silly high for the Yellow, Apple simply under produced some variants of this color or some carriers under ordered Yellow. For example, Verizon still has Yellow available for receipt on the 20th. AT&T and Sprint both have delays in the 32GB Yellow.

But, you can get the Yellow, in 16 or 32GB, for all three carriers on the 20th by ordering from Apple. This leads me to believe the carriers just didn't order enough Yellow rather than demand for it being so high for the color.

As a side note Sprint has also toned down their shipping notice on iPhone 5c in general. My guess is demand is not as high as they anticipated. People are waiting for the 5s IMO

I ordered a Blue 32GB on the 13th via verizononline to replace my iPhone 4. I've not a single clues as to whether or not it'll show up by the 20th or if that's when verizon will be sending them. :rolleyes:

Holding out for the 5s...hoping I can avoid the lines with the other retail reservations (they call them pre-orders), if lucky I will get a pick up notice on Thursday for Friday. If not ... hit up Apple store early morning and see how it plays out.

I have an AT&T premier account and Apple said I had to order the phone through my carrier to keep the discounts I get. I wanted to order through apple but I had to select a new data and voice plan. I will be getting the 5s for myself on the 20th :)

Can't wait to finally find out why Apple decided not to have pre-orders for the 5S. The 5c has still not sold out ( in the US).

update: apple hasn't sent me an email but I just checked the UPS website and looked up the package by reference number using my phone number and got this, I live in NY.

That's odd. Why would it take UPS 3 more days from Harrisburg to anywhere in NY?

Interesting. UPS has their delivery times down to a science, barring unforeseen events. There shouldn't be a need for inventory to be floating around at various shipping hubs. But that's just me.

I for some reason hate this wait. Ordered on morning of 13th around 10 am PT. :||
 
Mine still says preparing for shipment. BUT this morning I got an email from UPS saying expected delivery today! When I log into UPS though it says Friday. It would be sweet if it really came today though.

Nothing wrong with Windows Phone--it's every bit as stable and fluid as iOS, and while the app store isn't as well-developed, the overall integration and social aspects of WP put iOS to shame. Now, can we keep it on topic, folks? :p
 
5C is not popular here at all. Makes sense though all things considered.

Are you a new iPhone user? Or upgrading from an iPhone. I just can't decide between the two. I don't take a lot of photos, I don't play games and I don't keep a password on my stuff so I am stuck deciding on what to buy.

Go to the UPS website, click on the tracking tab, click track shipments, then look for track by reference on the left, for reference type in your phone number associated with the account, and enter your zip code.
