Carrier iPhone 5G does it improve speeds while moving ?

5G at the moment is nothing more than a gimmick.
I have been impressed with it and i drive around a lot and use with CarPlay, streams better, faster/smoother, even when moving through 4g,3g my 12 seems better with it.
I live in a 60k town and is mostly everywhere, maybe not as good as a big city have seen faster results . It's more been the better connection for me than speed. This was done in a full brick ground level of a nursing home.
We have 1000/40 at home.

Maybe wherever you live. 5G speeds where I'm at completely make a difference.

Where I live and the carrier I’m with want to charge me extra so I can use 5G. 😂 until they make it free, it’ll be a gimmick for me. 😂
More than happy with 4G, hitting 400-500mb
We get awesome 4G speeds here in Aus 🦘

Hard one to answer as there might be hot spots along your journey where you might lose coverage.

So then it's a gimmick for you. Pretty important detail you left out of your original comment. Anyway, crazy you guys hit those mobile speeds considering your home internet speeds are pretty awful.

If you want faster upload speeds you’ll have to sell both your kidneys 😂 have you seen what they’re charging for 200/400 upload 🤦♂️

I pay $109 here in LA for 1000/40. 1000/1000 through Google Fiber is $73 a month, a buddy of mine has it in Utah and the upload speeds are insane.

Why’s your mobile network so crap? 🤔 thought the U.S would be right up there for top 4g/5g speeds.
Opened the pro max setting it up now, what a beast lol, screen is so much brighter than my 12.
Hopefully 5G is even faster 😛

Honestly I have very little complaints about the mobile networks where I live. Coverage is consistently the same between all the carriers, and I see no difference. I am with AT&T because of laziness really, since I had them since the first iPhone.

Graphite, much nicer to hold than the 12, not as slippery, no smudges all over the back lol. Might get the black silicone the leather seems too sticky for me.
