iPhone 5S battery expanded

I thought I bent the phone but when I took it to the Genius Bar they said the battery expanded and caused the screen to pop out. Anyone else ever experience this?

Yeah it has happened to people. Not common, but can happen. Best to replace the battery to make sure it's all fixed.

Apple should replace that for free

Yeah I got a replacement phone. Funny the phone I replaced was also a replacement phone
