Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had this issue or knows how I can resolve this..

My iPhone 5s, for no apparent reason, just went completely black. There's nothing on the screen, but the phone is still on. That means when I make a call to my number I can hear the ring...but NOTHING on display..I just can't see anything. Infact I had received a call connected just 5 minutes back..!! And after my attempt to reboot the phone by pressing the power and home buttons simultaneously, the phone became alive..!!
Any idea about what is the reason for that...??
Infact I had dropped my phone once, but that was 4 months back...there is no history of recent drop, water problems or there was no problem with the phone so far. And the iOs is up-to-date...
Please help...Was it due to any hardware/software problem..?The phone is in warranty period....

Hi Unmesh,
I would say that if you are still in a warranty period, you can at least have a Genius run diagnotics on the iPhone at your nearest apple store.

A Reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

No content is affected by this procedure.
