Hi,

I had a water damage on my iPhone 5S a long time ago, i fixed it with the rice bag method and everything worked fine after. Since 3 days my iPhone just randomly decreases brightness and the screen gets unresponsible, to fix it i have to lock the phone and unlock it. Now today i noticed something scary, look at the video:

I really think my display is dying, should i replace it?

Seems your screen is dead...
Hope the motherboard of your phone is still OK, if so, replacing the screen can solve this problem.

Thanks don.

I put the 5S in a rice bag over night and the problems seems to be gone.
