I know it's too early to talk about this ..... However, lets speculate . Any thoughts???

My prediction is iOS 12. The 5s is a 64 bit device, which is actually running really well on iOS 10. iOS 11 might make it a little laggy but iOS 12 might make it like iOS 9 made the 4s.... but who knows! iOS 10 works rather well on the iPhone 5.

7, 8, 9, 10. So my prediction is iOS 11. Similar to A5 devices, which for A5 is first generation dual core processor. All A5 devices can use from iOS 5 to 6, 7, 8, and 9.

I would also speculate ios12 as being the last OS for it. The real question I've been wondering is what about the A8 era of devices. The phones only have 1GB of RAM, but the two iPads and the Apple TV have 2GB of RAM, the iPad Air 2 even has a third processor. The chip isn't all that much faster than the A7, so I could foresee support ending at ios12 for some of those devices too.

The A8 is a curious chip . The IPhone 6 has the A8 with only 1GB of RAM while the Mini 4 has the same chip with 2GB of RAM .However , The A8 chip in the Mini 4 is more powerful than the A8 in iPhone 6. It makes me remember the A4 chip . Don't forget the Air 2.It is more powerful than iPhone 6 and mini 4 together . So , not All A8 devices will be dropped together. incluinding mini 4 and the Air 2. The Air 2 will be the " new iPad 2". I think it will get more iOS updates than iPad 2
