iPhone 5S no LTE just 3G

It's weird, I have wifi off and LTE on but still says 3G when browsing web on safari. Tried to toggle lte on/off as well as reset network setting still no LTE icon just 3G. Called my carrier...wth

We're you getting LTE before the 5S? Sounds like a SIM card or account provisioning issue. Stop by your local telus store and have them replace your SIM card.
I believe the LTE provisioning is in the SIM card or your account itself. If telus said everything is ok on your account, the SIM card is all that it could be.
I agree. I use ATT, and had no idea why I only had 4G but no LTE on mine today. I thought it was because I cut my SIM to fit the phone, so I called ATT. They said that A) they have to add my phone's IMEI to my account and B) I need a new sim card. I guess that mine is old. So grab a new sim card and see if that helps.

Are you using the sim that came with the phone or did you pop your existing one in. If its your existing one its possible its not a LTE sim and its possible it is but your account just needs to be re-provisioned. I would just call them or head to a store and ask them to re-provision your Data plan for LTE service if you do indeed know its a LTE capable sim like the one that came in the phone.
My wife had the same problem when upgrading from 4S to 5s. Took it to at&t and they enabled LTE. It didn't work right out of the box as it was supposed to do.
I had no problem going from 5 to 5s though.
