iPhone 5S restarts when waking with the home button

To all the iPhone experts: Lately my fairly new 5S has been restarting (black screen with the Apple logo) when I pull it from my pocket to use it. This seems abnormal but isn't really more than a slight annoyance because it goes pretty quickly. I did a full restore with my computer and iTunes but it did this again once today.

Suggestions? When I can if this continues I will try to bring it back to Apple or a Verizon store. I bought it from Verizon, not Apple.

Also, another oddity. I have my password keychains set properly I think and there are a couple websites that seemingly randomly drop my password and require me to sign in again. Or shall I say they save the password but sign me out and I have to sign in again even though the respective user names and password windows have my requisite data in them.

I'm very pleased with this device so I'm not just being whiny about it. But the constant restarts could be indicative of an issue.

Thanks much for any comments or suggestions.

Mine has been doing the same thing. I asked a genius about it and he ran some diagnostics, couldn't come to a conclusion and simply replaced it for me. My new 5S does the same thing.

It seems to happen most frequently when logging in using touchID or when clicking on the Messages icon.

It's really odd b/c it isn't a full reboot, it throws the apple logo up and then goes back to the log in screen and I can still use touchID to log in whereas with a full reboot you must use your password.

Is this similar to what is happening to you?

I have random resets like that. It's not a full reboot and takes only a few seconds but the apple logo comes up and then back to the phone.

It's kind of random and I just attribute it to a bug or app crash.

Simple answer. 7.0.4 is the problem.

Oddly, it's been happening less lately.

I'm still very happy with the phone but given the relative trouble-free nature of all my prior Apple products this has been a bit surprising.

It works perfectly 99.9% of the time and the other time it just reboots.

It's probably a software issue and hopefully will be resolved in future updates. I don't miss my old Motorola for a second.

Thanks for the answers!
