Hey everyone,
I have the iPhone 5s, a week ago I dropped it in the toilet and after the rice method it seems to be back to a normal functionality. someone have told me that I should upgrade the phone to 6 or else there will be corrosion and it will slowly "eat the hardware inside" so what do you guys think I should do with it?
Thanks

There won't be any further damage apart from the initial damage you may have caused.

Might as well wait for the 6S if your 5S is still functioning.

Completely up to you but no further damage will happen to your 5s. If you want a new phone, get a 6 or 6+, if not keep what you have. As others stated the 6+ does have great battery life but it is quite large. I used one for three days and it was just too big of a phone for me anyway. I use a phone one handed as I believe they were designed to use and unless you have large hands, the 6+ becomes a pain when you only have one hand free.

Again some love it and you may be one of those people. Just a warning though, the jump in size from a 5s to a 6+ is massive.

6S shouldn't be a big upgrade probably.. and it will take time until they'll announce it, it also caused the front facing camera

Thanks, I'm also not a fan of big phones - probably will get the iPhone 6 soon...

Unless you are really desperate for a larger screen and/or Apple Pay, I don't really find the iPhone 6 that huge of an upgrade from the 5s. Both still get the same features from ios8, touch-ID, and the same 64-bit processor and 1gb of ram.

If you can afford it, go for it, but since your phone is apparently working okay, I would just continue using it. Though you may want to start making regular backups in case it really does stop functioning one day.

sell it to an enemy
