We need a 4.5" screen, drastically better industrial design, awesome camera, and ios7.

Make it out of meteorite or or baby sealskin or something.

Aren't things like color customization...one of the purposes of case? Besides, I can change the case's color to suit a mood, season, or look.

This is EXACTLY the reason why I bought a black 5th Gen iPod Touch and not a silly color. My cases do that job, not that hardware.

I like where your head is at. This conversation will probably be very annoying to most people... here we go:

-The next iphone should have a graceful and modern tapered curved back to it. Like the hull of a yacht, or something Stanly Kubrick esque.
-Instead of beveled edges; radius edges?
-Decrease the size of the radius on the 4 rounded corners.
-Make the screen as edge to edge as possible
-Eliminate as much of the top and bottom blank areas on the face of the phone. The ip5 is awkwardly tall.
-Explore putting the home button on the side of the phone.

Pretty obvious stuff i guess. So obvious there's probably a reason they haven't made it that way already.

Crazy ideas:
-It would be great if the phone could spin laying flat on a table. i don't know why.
-Explore using ceramic, porcelain enamel, or interesting metal alloys with nice natural color. (forget anodizing). Whatever it is should be cold and smooth.
-Maybe allow certain parts of the phone to have transparency, by using glass, acrylic, or fiber optics, without appearing gimmicky.

iPhone users rant off a 200 item list of features they want and Apple decides to do what they always do : Ignore us and release the same crap with a new body. No difference. Same EVERYTHING from the Macbooks to the iPhones to the Mac Pro as what we had in 2007.

when i said to give us options apple, i didn't say to give us the rainbow.. we won't more options when it comes to the screen size.

a lot of people cover up their phones with cases anyways, so these colours are pointless.

I agree it may come in different colors, and different sizes like 16, 32, 64, 128 GB, but other than that, I think that is about all the options you will get with the 5S.

The cheaper one I would assume will be colors and sizes and maybe either 3.5" or 4" but not likely Apple will modify these new phones that much to give many more options

Well, if they go colors (and I hope they do), they better match up those two end panels on the back, because white against anything but white looks like ass squared. Like white-wall tires on a BMW.
