Mine did it yesterday while using Logmein ignition and talking on the phone at the same time.

I should note it didn't happen until after I had read this article.

It's iOS 7. Glad I've held off from installing it, though my main reason for doing so is the lack of a jailbreak. Maybe in turn, I'll wait for these bugs to get fixed.

I don't know a single person who has ever had this happen.

Additionally, Apple will likely fix this very soon. Because unlike BSODs on *other* platforms, this one's actually fixable, and by a company that actually cares about doing it.

It is not just iP5s. io7 has been buggy with numbers all along.
There used to be this acknowledgment of a touch where the element touched would be highlighted in the pause before the action happened. This was useful in forms because it cut down on multiple touches.
Another glitch in forms is a disappearing cursor where you can't see your input until you hit "done".

I am not alone with the random quick reboots! :) When 64 bit was first introduced in a world dominated by 32 bit apps there were hiccups. It will be fixed.

Some guy on another thread said all 4 replacements had the random reboots! I'm getting mine replaced next week so I really hope I'm not as unlucky as him.

Seriously - what do you expect from a *hardware* replacement when it boils down to being (most likely) a *software* (iOS 7) issue?

Or did the colour already come off your 5S?

It will be fixed.

We all live in a happy "no bad karma" Apple world! Sing along!

If it was a software issue then Apple should have told me that. They offered to replace it.

Edit: in reply to your snide comment, I had my 5S in a case the day I got it.

Lol....

As such is the sad state of affairs at Apple under Tim Cook.

The maps fiasco, insistence on tiny iPhone screen size, trailing behind Samsung and Google in innovation, inability to innovate and come out with products, lame old products dressed in different colors as new products, and now this.

You have got to be kidding me.

My friend's Gold 32GB unit does it every time. I have a 16GB Space Grey and could not get it to happen. So, this is probably one of those difficult to solve problems because it is inconsistent.

I just got one on my iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.2. It happened when I plugged into my MINI using an apple-brand dock to Lightning adapter. It sat there for 1-2 minutes before rebooting.

I don't even have any iWork apps installed.
