iPhone 5s Verizon unlocking CDMA basebands

Hi - I bought a Verizon iPhone 5s and its technically unlocked for GSM carriers, but is it possible to use the iPhone for CDMA carriers in other parts of the world ?. I heard there is a basband unlcok sim, which allows you to do so. Please advice
