Iphone 5s, water damaged LCD screen

Well, somehow my 5s got water in the lcd screen. The damaged portion of the screen (about 1/5 in area) is real bright, so it's very annoying. Everything works fine except the bright coloration. Are there any fixes to this? Or, should I just pay Apple to replace it? Anyone know if Apple might do a good will replacement?
