If I get any of them it will be the Note 4. Might as well get the beast since the others did not pan out to be beauties. They killed the X and why get the iPhones with their size and cost and I have a Moto 360.

I really had high hopes for the X. The screen size was perfect. All it really needed was a bigger battery and a better camera but Moto screwed that up. I really don't want a 5.5+ phone but the note 4 is definitely the most feature packed release this fall.

I'm actually starting to think a used iphone 5S may be a better buy for me.

Edit: Actually I'm leaning towards the 6+ now.

I don't know why people keep pushing the whole lag thing with Samsung phones, regarding updates honestly Android at this point comes all set out of the box, imo only major updates count and most of the times the new model is around the corner.

FFS mate :p you have a LG G3 and already looking to upgrade to a new phone.

People like to take utter minutiae and blow it out of proportion to make their point to some nameless person on an online forum. There is as much lag on an android phone as there are iPhones which force quit apps randomly.

I am leaning toward a new Moto X. My wife has the 1st gen Moto X and I like it much more than my Nexus 4. The iPhone 6 does look interesting and I am seriously considering it, but price still is an issue for me. If the X and 6 were priced equally, I'd probably go for the 6 though, but the gap is just too large. Perhaps when I hold each of them, the decision will be easier.

Haha your right....the LG G3 is/was a great phone for me (sold it, without a phone until Friday now), but it wasn't my cup of tea. I bought it absurdly cheap as an in-between phone when I sold my 5s a little over a month ago.

Pure android or ios for me from now on it looks. I am not a big fan of manufacturer skins...though htc is alright (and moto x is an improvement).

I am most likely going to settle on the iphone 6 Plus...with the goal of keeping it for 2 years.

The moto X (2014) may have its flaws, but that and the upcoming nexus are, IMO, the android phones to get. I believe pure android L is going to be a beautiful OS to use.

I've picked an 6+ for xmas, logical upgrade, too many things I couldn't do on Android or WP.

I have had a go with all of them. The last ones standing are the Plus and Moto X 2014.

I keep saying to myself to stop with the Samsungs. After the last go with one being the Note 4, maybe I'll finally cease after returning it.

The Motos, Nexus, iphones, and HTCs are what my focus will probably be going forward. At least my New Year resolution. :)

The IP6+ with those bezels is just way too big.

I still can't believe that even with the new generation of iPhone, they are still so poorly engineered. The Nexus 6 and the 6+ are almost the same size when you hold them side by side (the Nexus is ever so slightly wider), yet the Nexus' display is a half inch larger AND it has stereo speakers. The fact they could pack in all that extra screen, with speakers, and still be around the same size as the 6+, shows how poorly designed the 6+ is.

The Nexus 6 is noticeably wider and heavier than the 6 Plus. It also has a worse camera and less battery life compared to the 6 Plus. I see what you are saying, but both phones have pros and cons when side by side.

I agree with what both of you said. Both are great phones!

Have you ever actually held them both together? It is not "noticeably wider" at all. The difference in with is not very significant at all. As for battery, I'd disagree with you there, and so would some battery tests.. Weight wise, the Nexus is heavier, but honestly the Nexus is better designed in that it feels better in the hand than the iPhone does, and that's including the weight difference. The difference in ergonomics is very ostensible.

Held both. Noticed the N6 was wider. Felt it too. Same with weight. General consensus of N6 reviews is that it has worse battery life compared to the 6 Plus. Disagree all you want.

lol @ "general consensus". Also, I didn't ask if you've held both. I asked have you held them both TOGETHER? And yes, I will continue to disagree. In the meantime, going back to what my original point was, it is very poorly designed, and does not make good use of the space.
