Looks like the reviews are saying fast performace on the 6+, despite only having 1GB of RAM.

RAM isn't about speed the issue with RAM is the fact that you have tabs and apps constantly being purged because you don't have enough memory to keep them running.

Just wondering seen a lot of mentioning that the size of an iPhone 6 Plus is great in the "right hands"... Does anyone have a rough measurement for what these "right hands" are?

I'm around 6 ft tall ... and have 9 inch hands measured from my thumb to pinky. Just wondering if anyone has an idea what the scale is?

Thanks!

you won't find scale. btw measuring thumb to pinky is incorrect- measure wrist to tip of middle finger. thumb to pinkey is useless.

KK thanks for the info ... ... 8 inches that way ... well hopefully it won't be too big when i get to hold it

looks like the 6 out preforms the 6+ in many categories.. sad.. also sad that i don't have huge hands and every single review has said that it is HARD to hold.

Because if you're really interested in high sound quality, you're going to be using headphones or playing the media through some other device (e.g. via airplay, bluetooth, lightning/usb connection, or even the headphone jack). No one is going to seriously expect hi fidelity out of any cell phone's speakers. Even if other cell phones have 'better' sound out of their speakers, it's a moot point: you want good sound, you're going to use headphones or stream it to something with real speakers.
Thanks, but that's an Apple cop-out explanation. HTC and Motorola have shown you can have louder, better quality sound. Apple chooses not to invest anything in improving this area. Of course, if they did, they'd tout it with some magical new name, like "HD Fidelity".

If I want to make a speakerphone call, I don't want to have to rush and plug something in the headphone jack. And, the Bluetooth speaker I purchased plays music just fine but Apple disables it (and many other BT speakers) for speakerphone use.

What a great idea. I would love HD Fidelity class sound.

I'll bet that in the 6S or 7 they will introduce high quality stereo speakers as a major advanced feature. We already have higher fidelity FaceTime Audio, we have VoLTE coming with higher quality sounds...why rely on the same, lacking, tinny speakers?

Yep, the 6+ is as good or better in almost every category compared to the 6.

Geekbench isn't exactly consistent either - the variation of a few 100 points means practically nothing, as you could redo the test and get different results.

In short, they are both very fast and capable phones.

I know Apple bought Beats, but did they just buy them for the wearables and the app?

My HTC from 2012 has Beats audio included as software that helps (more or less) the sound when using the headphone jack...surprised they didn't implement Beats technology into the phone's audio output..unless I missed that part.

CNET's benchmarks has iPhone 6 performing basically equal or better than the iPhone 6 Plus. It seems as though both phones are quite equal and that it'll be very hard to really notice any difference between the two phones.
