Have you tried creating a 3D hologram with your smartphone yet? Yes, this smartphone hologram
became all the rage in the internet in the past few days. And we decided to give it a try ourselves. So
why not share our experience?

Here’s a step by step description video on how to carry out this cool experiment at home using your
smartphone and a bunch of other stuff you can find at home.

Let’s first take a look at what you would need; first of all you need a smartphone, in this case I have used
my iPhone 6 , then a piece of plastic and tape. A mobile app is of course necessary for the image
generation. There are many apps out there for iOS you can choose from.

First open up the app and select an image or a video of your choice. The chosen image or video will be
displayed on the smartphone screen as 4 animated side-view images. Take the plastic structure created
as on the video and keep it on the center point of the smartphone display between the 4 images.
Turning off the lights will help you see the 3D hologram clearer and better.

We conducted the iPhone 6 hologram experiment with a cool video of a jellyfish we uploaded to the app
but of course you can use images as well. If you have any doubt about using your own images and
videos instead of those found on the app, you can take a look at our experiment video to find out how
the video we uploaded looked in the hologram.

Don’t forget to carry out this simple experiment by yourself. Enjoy the hologram!

I can't wait for when Apple or Samsung announces that their latest phones will have the function of holograms. Hopefully within 5 year!

I must have missed the part where he's using the coherent properties of laser light to generate the hologram.

Looks cool!

Hey, you wouldn't be by chance the same Adrianisen on YouTube?? Love your videos man! Love the fact that you show the older phones on the new beta iOS versions! Whenever it's time for a software update on an older device, I watch your videos to see how they will preform! Keep up the good work :)

Thanks for your support, I will try to upload even more videos related to what my fans want to see, and it's hard for me too follow all the interactions on Youtube. So I will use forums for this reason.
