Yes it will be $100 cheaper but unless you are short on cash, spend the extra money to get the 6s/6s plus because it'll have 2gb of ram which will be future proof for many years

I'm guessing that they get discontinued but they'll definitely be around $100 cheaper on the used market.

Here's what I am wondering.
If the rumors are true, the 6s and 6s+ will have the same retail price as the 6 and 6+. That being said, will the prices of the Next plan installments lower for the 6 and 6+, since the new phone's installments should be the same prices as they are charging now?

Looking at past years it's most likely Apple will discontinue the 6 and 6 Plus possibly keeping the 16GB models as entry level models for a lower price. You might find other retailers discounting them possibly but I doubt it will be by much.
