I couldn't be more happier by this delay. Ship the China bound iPhones to the U.S. thank you!

Can't! They're different models. And at this point, I am sure the millions of units have already been manufactured... They can be moved to all other markets except the US/Canada.

Also, the gray market will be flooded with the "cheaper" US models - due to currency exchange issues and easy movements of goods between the US and Asia - and that means many Chinese customers won't have access to 4G LTE with China Mobile... but the sellers won't care a bit!

The ones here in mx are the same as the us, apple mx is actually in the us. They are just priced a lot higher. I don't know if it's the same in the rest of latin america or not.

2015? I don't trust the rumor. It is very unlikely that Apple cannot resolve this in the next couple of months. It's just a rubber stamp that they need from the government.

You won't be so happy when you realise that the professional scalpers bought up all the phones to send to China. Be careful what you wish for ;)

Apples priority needs to be the Western Markets first. While China is a growing and emerging market, Apple perhaps is focusing to much on Eastern Markets while slowly loosing share in the West. Focus on the States and neighbors to the north. Trust me, the rest will follow

If potential rate of market share loss is less than potential marketshare gain, then they should focus on the Eastern countries.

Why does nonsense like this keep getting printed?

"Due to such demand, Apple will have to battle the gray market in which resellers purchase iPhone 6 units in other countries"

No, actually they won't. You know why? Because the Dollars, Euros and HK Dollars they will collect for these iPhones getting resold in China are every bit as valuable as Yuan. Apple will make just as much money. The fact that Apple for the first time ever are selling unlocked iPhones starting on Day One, goes to show that they have no intension of impeding the grey market.

You know who loses out? The Chinese government which will lose all the tax revenue associated with these grey market sales. For that reason if no other, I bet they cave and sign Apple's paperwork.

Yes, that will mean massive amounts of scalpers in line on Friday.
