I still think Apple kind of purposely did this to gain hype. I mean Apple can buy companies to make iPhones or even construct its own factory with that kind of money it receives everyday.

I was gonna buy an iPhone this year but I realized the iPhone 6 was actually dumbed down to make room for the iPhone 6S. It's not worth to give Apple my money now.

For sure the iPhone 6 will struggle in the future in terms of memory. iOS 9, iOS X or whatever will consume even more RAM with all these effects they put in. Apple A9 chip will be better optimized for bigger screens, better battery life, and of course the Camera. I mean if the iMac supports a 5K resolution, you know the iPhone will eventually support 4K photos or videos, hence an increase in storage.

Well played Apple, well played lol.

You clearly speak for the entire iPhone population :roll eyes:

There are 4 6-plusses in my family's 8 person share plan alone. It's supposedly doing really well in non-US countries as well.

Oh, so you're the one who caused the shortage... :D

"Back in October, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that demand for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus was "far outstripping" supply, but based on the continually improving shipping times, Apple appears to be on track to meet its supply goals before the end of the year."

Hmm, just because Apple might be able to quickly ship its flagship product from an online store, doesn't mean it is meeting its supply goals. I suspect Apple wants to have the iPhone readily available in all varieties in all the stores that sell cell phones and which want to carry Appple. It seems like Apple still has a long ways to go to get the stock to smaller shops.

Still waiting for iPhone 6 Mini

Wait until 2012...yes!

This is bullsh**. I ordered an iPhone 6 on November 20th and UPS lost it or someone stole it. Apple sent me another one and the same thing happened yesterday. It made it up until the last UPS hub city and then the tracking info never got updated after that.

Now we're a week away from Christmas and they want to send another one just so UPS can lose it again? How many iPhones do you throw down a bottomless pit before you stop doing it?!

Tell UPS to hold at the facility for you to pick it up...simple.

While in Canada, 'Ships in 1 Day' only for the iPhone 6 Plus so far

What do you want? Availability of iPhones or human rights for workers of Apple suppliers?

I"M SO CONFUSED!!!!

:D
Easy question! Availability of iPhones all the way!
I couldn't care less about something that doesn't affect me! ;)

After Christmas sales will go into a tailspin. It's all Android from January to early September. The only thing I see worth any news will be the Apple watch. Not that it's good but just because of the Apple logo.

Now back to my Note 4 and Gear VR. :p

Thank you, hard working labourers of Pegatron and Foxconn!

Your exhausting 70+ hour working weeks, forced overtime, and poor living conditions are finally paying off. At last, supply of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus appears to have caught up with demand!

The first world salutes your efforts.

I just checked the 6+ 128GB Space Grey AT&T and it's down to 3-5 days from 7-10 days which is pretty nice. AT&T is still 21-28 days. I will be ordering my new one on Tuesday, hopefully the store has them in stock.

I salute your sarcasm and encourage you to put up or shut up! I dare you to buy a phone manufactured outside of China!
On that note I challenge you to actually find a single mobile phone manufactured outside of China.

All these "supply constraints" feel exactly by design. How convenient to push people last week to "order right now" or "maybe too late for Christmas," yet suddenly two days before Christmas a last second gut wrenching can't afford it fence sitter can have it overnighted to make just in time.

It's so weird that the same person who will believe all the weirdest conspiracies about "the oil companies" will at the same time believe without question the most bizarre BS coming from Angel #, even though Apple has more money and better marketers that ExxonMobile could ever dream of.

Wow, you went from a "iPhone 6/+ wait time" to ExxonMobile conspiracy theories? You should run for office.

The vast majority of the world believes you're speaking out the side of your neck. But, then again, several hundred million people could be wrong. But, then again, probably not.

It's ridiculous of what is happening in Hong Kong. We still can't buy one online, let alone buying one at their shops. Blaming too many people buying the phone to make profit instead of using it. Silly.

Err... How about Samsung? (hint: Korea)
Coming back to Apple, I remember reading articles about Foxxconn Brazil

now that it's no more than a nine month wait for the 6s announcement I think I'll wait. They've got more than a fair share of issues to iron out by then.

Seriously? So you think Apple would artificially suppress supply rather than try to get product into the hands of everyone who wants an iPhone? Particularly during a time when the battle for smartphone mindshare is incredibly intense? And when the iPhone accounts for over half of Apple's revenues? Right.

There is no factory in the world that could possibly keep up with Apple's demand requirements right from day one. The resources Apple spends just to ensure adequate supply of components, logistics availability, etc is already much more than most companies have.

There are a lot of theives in the postal service nowadays. My moms iPad had one more stop until it got to our house but tracking stopped right there. Same thing happened to a couple of friends of mines.

Still waiting for iPhone 6 Mini

Read several articles about the 2015 iPhone Mini! It seems like Apple going to be positioning it as the bottom entry level iPhone. It suppose to have the A7, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 326 ppi with 4.7" screen size. LOL!

New update for Apple TV unit and possibly iPod Touch 6th gen.?

I ordered a gold 128GB at 3pm last Wednesday from the apple online store, it arrived Thursday morning about 9am. Ordered the replacement sim from my carrier which still hasn't arrived lol.

I'm in Australia.

Wife got me a 128GB 6 for Christmas and it was about 10 day wait as noted in the article. iPhone 6+ on the other hand they had plenty of in store.

Every one was saying how if Apple didn't make the 6+ their days were numbered. Yet I have only so far seen 1 person with a 6+ and apparently the stores are not moving what was already a much lower volume product.

Not saying it's a bust by any means, but I think people over estimated what size phone most Apple customers wanted.

EDIT: Oh and by the way 128GB on a phone? Crazy. My laptop doesn't even need that much space :p

I haven't seen many iphone 6 in general but it's been split between both model sizes.

128 is overkill for many. I have a 6 plus 64 and use roughly 30

Why are you looking at the back?
On mine, I find the front has the most utility :D

Whilst I do appreciate the humour in your post, (genuinely). When I buy underwear, (that is - items that I never see normally), I still buy what I think looks nice. Same principle.
Assuming you are a gentleman, do you buy Y fronts, which have more utility than most other types of underwear?
