Is Apple ignoring all of us who use cameras and continuing to make it impossible to copy photos from SD cards to the iPhone? I was hoping that as it edged closer to the iPad Mini that perhaps they'd allow their adapter to be used with it?

I'm right there with you and am hoping with iOS 8 they enabled that simple function found on all iPads. I haven't been able to find any statements about it though.
A 128GB 6+ would be a perfect photo file backup/review platform while away from home.... if they enabled the lightning SD capture.
I can transfer RAW files via WIFI from my A7, but it's much slower and waists battery life.

Come on Apple, throw us photographers a bone, especially after killing Aperture.
