I'll admit I don't play games or do anything that really tasks the phone but I am very very surprised with the battery life I am seeing with this thing. Excellent! :apple:

I am very happy with it too. I end up with around 10% of battery around 10pm before I go to bed, leave it in charge till 6am on the morning. Never had this kind of battery life with other smartphones I had.

I agree! I'm using it far more than usual since I just got it yesterday. I love the plus so much for the screen size and battery. If I was on my 5s constantly, I think it would be down to 5% already.

I pull these stats constantly

Image

Home and lock screen is always the second or third on the rank for me. Not sure why though as I don't spend time looking at the home screen. But then again any use outside apps (like switching between apps, swiping between home screens, spotlight searches, notifications and widgets, unlocking etc) will contribute on it.

Objective testing shows it is quite an improvement. Not 6+ good, but definitely better than before.

Maybe cause you spend the most percentage of time on the Home and Lock Screen...lmaoo

And........? I still pulled 7 hrs of screen on time, and your mocking that. Good one. Also take a look at the op stats his home&lock screen is at 17% percent I'm pretty sure we are not both just turning our home screen on and admiring our icons for 17-24% of the time unless you really think that "lmao"

I just had the battery in my 5 replaced as part of the defective battery replacement program. It wasn't a huge problem really--I was normally needing to charge every other day--but the new battery easily goes twice as long. So clearly they're getting better batteries now.

I believe he was being sarcastic.

Home/lock are notifications and such.

I'm at 4 hours and 15 mins with 66% left. Try draining the battery down to 0% then charging back upto 100%.

Did that several times, and also reboot fairly often. I tried turning off most of the Background App Refresh switches and will see if that helps.

I also think the battery life on my 6 Plus is amazing. Couldn't ask for more than what I'm currently getting now. :)

I agree. I'd usually be around 20-30% this time of night (10pm) but I'm sat at 50% right now.

Very happy indeed.

I found the iPhone 6 battery just right for every day use. However, when going on a trip/ vacation that needs a lot of outdoors time, I think it's lacking. Overall, I'm happy with it since the thing is so thin.

I've only has my 6 for a few days but so far the battery life seems about the same as my 5s. For me that means about 9-10 hours of usage spread across about 2 days of standby. But that's based on only one 100% to 0 discharge so far.
