iPhone 6 Battery Replacement

My iPhone 6 Battery has been getting worse and worse.

Its max capacity is currently at 1000 mAh, down from 1810 mAh that it comes with as new.

Will replacing the battery have a major impact on battery performance? Or are there other, non reversible things that are affecting battery performance.

If its down that much and you're planning on keeping the phone for a while you should get a new battery.

Did you just ask if replacing the battery with a new one will increase battery performance after stating that your current battery has degraded?

Never claimed to be smart. That carries entirely too much responsibility. I don't need that kind of pressure in my life.

Yeah, your MacBook claim is false. A battery is a battery. If you are below 80% health the battery is unstable and will not hold a charge nearly as well or as long.

I replaced a MacBook Pro battery after it reach 60% health remaining, the replacement battery returned operating usage time back to like it was new. From 3 hours back to 6.

One day in previous work I saw benchmarks of MacBook with original vs non-original battery...
And results are way different from each other. Like half of possible performance is cut down if you buy (or get ) not official battery (shop was trying to troll us selling fake as new).
So it make difference.

Just be sure you buy good battery or overpay and go to Apple Store and ask for replace.

Just be sure you buy good battery or overpay and go to Apple Store and ask for replace.

If it was me, I would just take it to Apple directly and let them handle the replacement. I'm not very trusting of third party repair facilities.
