While it seems surprising that a functional iPhone 6 could be built from individual components, Feld & Volk has demonstrated that it has been able to get its on rare parts, and thus it is possible they may have acquired everything necessary to build the device.
Don't want to be a stickler, but you forgot a word in that sentence.

I'm not going with this as a true source of anything. They built this using parts they acquired. Some might be legit, some might be simply from older phones they got ahold of. The body could be 3d printed based on rumor rather than an actual body.

You never see the complete lightning cable. But you see it is twisted in a pair. The other cable is probably connected to a device in recovery mode... Maybe it is legit, but I am sceptical about this because of this.

We see in two weeks probably. The guys from Feld & Volk got their 15 min I guess..

Isn't the DFU iTunes icon red in iOS8? I'm not sure why the iPhone 6 would be running iOS7...

They built this out of hacked together parts. it's possible that they don't have an iPhone 6 storage unit etc much less one with iOS 8 flashed on it. Thus the use of iOS 7 because that's what they have

I am digging the gloss black front. Looks so clean. It's really odd as I have white for everything else but I'm pretty damn sold on the space grey version there. White may have to take a back seat.

Big a**e phone...

....I'm gonna miss the square edges, hopefully the metal will still give it heft so it doesn't feel like a plastic POS a la Samsuing.

iTunes 12 and the new music icon in ios8 are also orange/pink....just saying

I specifically logged in just to comment this. Space Grey's looking pretty good.

Issue with this though. The new connect to iTunes screen shows a red iTunes logo, not a blue one. Why would the old firmware be on a new phone and board with a phone that will be running iOS 8?

look what i've found, playing with curves

this can confirm it's a real leak directly from cupertino.

I think you nailed something else... I rechecked that part in the video and when de gear comes on, you see its parallel with our point of view, while the iPhone is being hold under an angle! The gear and iTunes logo afterwards should angled with the device. If you replay the part from 0:44 till he puts it back on the table, you can feel its fake by seeing the image on screen in comparison with the movement he makes with the phone. The image is added digitally afterwards.

+

the image is much clearer/brighter than the 5S's in this video, also suggesting the image is digitally added afterwards.

The cable in the screens image is way to high from where it should be.. they used a 4″ LED screen from an iPhone 5s.. pushed it up and hocked it together in a mock iPhone 6 case..

They even give themselves away when they show the 5s, it’s image of the cable and iTunes logo start at the BOTTOM of the screen. heh.. media junkies looking for 15 minutes..
These two = Yep.
I don't mind all the examples being put together out of parts and schematics but I don't like when they try to pass it off as real or functioning. Congrats to them for having a concept that may be close to the original but don't try to make it look like you did more than you actually did.

We all want the new stuff along with the shareholders. With an all time high on the market yesterday and sure to be higher next week this hype is legit. :apple:

Haha there's no way I could keep away! But the leaks are getting to the point it feels like opening a Christmas present on December 15th.

Isn't this the purpose of Macrumors? I mean, people want them to draw the line on not posting anything that's not rumor-ish and then some folks don't want to see actual links. So the site is stick with only posting what analysts think might come out?

I'm not having a go at MacRumors at all.

It's great they report the leaks and rumours they do - I meant that Apple seem to be having a hard time stopping the leaks from turning into floods and because of this I was considering waiting for the official keynote. Y'know, for excitement's sake.

Not excited about the power/standby/wake button being on the side. I have used a GS4 for some testing at work, and I hate that location. Makes it far too easy to inadvertently put the screen to sleep. Ugh.

Another thing stolen from other phone manufacturers.
