All third party apps recieve the image after it's made it's way through the phone image processor. The result is poor images with larger file sizes.

On the left is the 6, on the right, iPhone 5.

Wow iPhone 5 definitely looks nicer.

The angle isn't exactly the same. These tests tome make no sense since the camera maybe isnr focuses as well and lightening and angle. I still feel 6 is better.

The iPhone 6 and 6 plus cameras are the best cameras I've even seen in iPhones. The pics are so crisp and clear. I love it

non issue unless you pixel peep

Yeah, and by pixel peep you mean look at the image in any other way other than zoomed all the way out on your phone.

The pictures look bad on a monitor as well as even slightly zoomed in.

Keep telling yourself the 6 is better and maybe it will happen...

Yes, the detail is just much better with the older image processing. Hopefully they can/will revise the algorithm.

They look fine on my computer screen and on the phone. Zoomed in, they sometimes lack detail.

Honestly, I wouldn't have had any idea that there was an issue at all if it wasn't for this thread. From what I've read elsewhere, most people seem very pleased with the camera.

Really? What size monitor do you have?

On my 22" Asus, putting the pics close to full screen I can see all the blotchyness.

I could never use a pic from the 6 as a desktop wallpaper.

I have a 34-inch LG ultrawide display attached to a 21.5" iMac. They look fine on both screens. That's not to say that I don't have some photos that turned out badly, but the good ones really look nice, in my opinion.

Bringing back the same old thread regarding the noise reduction with the 6 & 6+ let’s see if this is fixed with the newest models 6S & 6S+ otherwise I’ll stick to my 5S until it dies or maybe move on and change to something else.

I've been following this subject very close the entire year...
