All third party apps recieve the image after it's made it's way through the phone image processor. The result is poor images with larger file sizes.

They look fine on my computer screen and on the phone. Zoomed in, they sometimes lack detail.
Honestly, I wouldn't have had any idea that there was an issue at all if it wasn't for this thread. From what I've read elsewhere, most people seem very pleased with the camera.
