iPhone 6 can't find my Yosemite PB MacBook via Airdrop?

Trying to airdrop photos to my MBP with the latest public beta Yosemite. My phone cannot find my laptop, but my laptop can see the phone with AirDrop

Is this an iOS8/Yosemite/other issue?

Same here, won't work. I'm wondering its:

1. Broken
2. Not supported on my Mac

You need a MBA 2011 or newer along with an iPhone 5 or newer, in order to take advantage of AirDrop to the Mac in Yosemite.

I have both and the only thing that works for me is the making calls via my mba. I have a MBA mid 2011 and iphone 5s.

It should work for you except for SMS, as Apple has turned that feature off for everyone right now.

When you click on about Mac and click on Bluetooth, it shows LMP Version: 0x6 yes?

Yep and iPhone 6 with iOS 8.0
