Hi guys! I need a little help deciding which to buy for my new iPhone 6!! Okay so I've always been into wooden cases cause c'mon they're just so cool! I love the idea of having a natural product as a case. So I've been doing some research and came across this SUPER cool and unique wooden case from www.carved.com
Please see image below:

I love that it actually looks like part of a trunk!! So here's my problem now (first world problem..) while I was doing some research, I also came across this site- www.mikolmarmi.com which produces 100% natural marble stone cases! As shown below:

I.KNOW!!! Like what? Marble cases? Yeah right it's probably plastic, but after further research, they are actually real stone!! So now I can't decide which would be better to have!! Can you guys guide me please! OR, if you have found/heard of something even better, do let me know!!! I'm very open to suggestions :)

You can certainly check us out. We make all our cases from Bamboo and layered paper, fused together under a bazillion pounds of pressure and I will bet that we are more durable than either.

The marble case looks more on a high class than the wood. Yet the wood case seems to be more unique for being kind of a vintage. But I would prefer the marble one.

That's a cool idea as well! Will take a look :)

I personally prefer the marble (personally my possessions tend to be neutral/monochromatic) but the wooden one is really unique compared to other wood cases i've seen! Either way they both look like nice choices. :)

I prefer wood as it tends to show its age better. Depending on the clear coat/shine on the marble case it would show its age/scratches at certain angles and would drive me insane.
Take a look at @ Grovemade. They make beautiful wood products for Apple gadgets.

Of course, an wood case will be much better. If you drop your iPhone on the floor with marble case, i think the case will damage your iPhone for sure. Additionally, Don't you feel too heavy for you to carry a marble case on it.

you have a good point! i'm not sure how sturdy the cases are but i do know the marble case is super light! its cut to about 1mm. But I also think that it'll break/shatter more easily than the wood. Im starting to lean more towards the wood haha

Unfortunately for wood, it will crack and break. It's the drawback to wood, and is why Twig exists! We tried every wood and solid bamboo case and they quickly cracked and broke under normal use. That's when we developed our paper and bamboo material, and found ourselves rapidly imitated by the other kids.

That's not 100% marble of course, it's a thin piece of marble stuck to a plastic case. Marble is a relatively soft stone, and will probably scratch & chip.

Lena, I have a Live Edge case coming from Carved tomorrow that I most likely can't keep. Let me know if interested.

I just purchased the Mikol case!! They are really cool but really expensive... I had 2 wooden cases before but they both broke on me. Apparently (according to another forum) it's because I bought hard wood cases and now they make soft wood cases? So if you havent bought a case yet, you could consider the soft wood cases. I personally wouldn't go for the hard wood cases from my personal experience. I did in fact purchase the Mikol marble case though!! from www.MikolMarmi.com and as I have only had it for 2 days, I have had no troubles with it! I hope it wont break though. They are REALLY cool, really elegant and unique but as Gin Gin said above, I hope it wont get scratched or chipped easily...

Nothing is more versatile and utility than soft wood case
Both flexible and slim, natural thin wood veneer combo present you a fabulous wood case
