It does that randomly, and after the restart it won't ask for the passcode!! It is getting really annoying
 
could be corrupt software. i'd try restoring as new and seeing if that fixes it (back up first anyway just incase)
 
Mine has started doing this, I've tried setting up as a new iPhone and it continues to do it. Are Apple likely to swap my iPhone out?

It's a software issue and the upcoming iOS8.4 update should presumably fix it. This is happening to everyone I know.
