Just a year ago, no one could believe that Apple can do nasty plastic and nasty UI.

Almost every single Apple rumor has been true up to now.

on other site someone puts the frame on an iphone 5s so the dimensions from that pictures are nice. iphone 5/5s was taller than 4s (123mm*59mm) but still one handed device allmost for everything. Now they seems to make a 4.5" or 4.7" reducing the top and bottom bezels because that frame is around 120mm*64mm*6mm so it keeps the one handed device for almost all usual use but with larger screen.

so i would love iphone 6 with 120mm*64mm*6mm with 4.7"

there is no device that compact at 4.7"

Looks like a Galaxy phone skeleton. Nothing like the usual iphone quality. But who knows it could be a raw prototype.

Whichever the case, I want a bigger iPhone. I'm holding onto my 4S until it's happened.

iphone 5 or 5s is bigger than your 4s...so is already something bigger than 4s
Or do you want something at least 4.5" ?

Did you know Samesung is reading rumors???

Researcher: Boss.. iPhone 6 is 4.7 in
CEO: Make that Galaxy S5 size to 5.5 in

Lol.

This is so fake it's astonishing you guys fell for this.

To add on this, Samsung has been making their phones with the headphone jack at the top like this for quite some time. If you look at some of their recent phones you see the exact same style. Besides that, this doesn't look like any Apple part I've ever seen. All the holes in the side indicate that there goes a case around this, presumably plastic, like with Samsungs phones. This doesn't use Apple's antenna design, I highly doubt that they WON'T use it in their new iPhone. Also there is no place for the lightning port.

And above all, WHY would Apple move the headphone port back up on top of the device?!

Poor effort Macrumors, just some crappy click bait.

Care to actually read the post before commenting next time?

debunking a story is still news. why is this an issue for you?

It just didn't seem like a very convincing fake to me. I can't know what Apple are planning of course, but I am fairly sure this isn't it, based on their past 15 years of design.

That's why it's in the SIDEBAR, unless you're viewing it on the mobile version.

I was indeed. I thought it was front page, my apologies.

iPhone 6 here we come.

At this point, it's pretty clear that it will get the (iPod Touch-iPad Air-iPad Mini)-Styling.

What are you talking about? The iPad mini design copied the iPhone design. They use different aspect ratios, so perhaps that's where the confusion lies.

I cant see this being real to be honest. But regardless, I would just like to be suprised again by Apple. No design leaks, no parts leaks. Not a whisper until the Keynote. Although I know this wont happen.

You're right! Computers always had CD drives, why should we remove them now?!?! I am amazed by some people's poor arguments.

You're calling my argument poor while you said it's obvious the iPhone will get the iPad styling even though there is no proof whatsoever and the history of the iPhone actually supports what I said? Well done.

I actually don't think this is fake, it's probably an early mock up line...consider this a device that size will need a larger battery to get the power up times Apple and it's customers want so separating the larger battery from the components with a thermal heat absorption layer may make technically. The thing is no company could steal the mid body frame without incurring the wrath of Apple so I doubt it's anyone, but Apple ordering the frame. I don't mind them making a bigger phone for people that want that, but hopefully it doesn't change the standard iPhone size other than hopefully lowering it's price a bit.

'iPhone 6 Frame' Shown in New Photos Unlikely to Be Genuine

I'd love for apple to reduce the bezels but if they retain the home button then there is a limit to how much they can vertically reduce. As for a 4.7" screen device the moto x has one of the nicest hand feel of any device I've owned. The curves are great and it has a very balanced heft in your hand. I thought it'd feel thick but it doesn't. 6mm may be "too" thin and also sacrifice battery capacity. Compact and slim sure, but it'd feel like an iPod touch (~6mm). Except for the curves, I never liked holding one.

For reference:

Moto x: 129.3 x 65.3 x 10.4 mm
iPhone 3G: 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm
iPhone 5: 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm
