My girlfriend just got her iPhone 6 4.7 inch and I want to surprise her with a case. She generally likes girly cases which makes her phone look "cute" and doesn't care too much for other parameters.

Can you help me find a "cute" girly case which will also provide a good protection for her iPhone?

There are some very cute Kate Spade cases available through Best Buy. Also Sonix makes a case called Crochet Floral that is awesome on a gold iPhone. Both are well-made, slim but protective cases.

Case Mate makes a few glittery ones. Best Buy sells'em.

It is pretty I guess but I would really like to hear from someone who got one of these, is it actually good to be used as a case or is it just for show off?

I'm currently using this one that I bought from the AT&T store for my 6+.

I like that it protects the edge all away around and has a lip for when it lies face down on the table. Does it provide Otterbox like protection? No. It slim, stylish minimal protection.

Have you checked out Redbubble? You're bound to find something there that she would like, and they use Case Mate cases... you can choose either the Snap or the Tough case.
