Hey all, I received my iPhone back today after having the battery replaced (original apple battery).
I noticed that the phone heats up while being charged.. not sure if I should be worried about this, is this normal for new batteries? I use an original apple charger and an AmazonBasics charging cable (as I did before getting the battery replaced).

If it's an original Apple battery and you had it replaced at an Apple store or an authorized Apple service center and you think it's overheating while charging, then take it back to them.

I agree, it's not normal. That said, there are varying degrees of heat and sometimes we notice these things solely because we know the battery is new. Still, you should head back to Apple or the AASP and have them check it out.

My phone generates some heat while charging, and some heat is normal to an extent. Take it back if you're concerned.
