The big iPhone 6 has a new keyboard in landscape mode. In a typical example of a feature that the iPad should have had but that Apple doesn't care enough to implement, it appears iOS finally got a slightly better way to copy and paste content.
The best screenshot I have seen of the beyboard is this one:
From Gizmodo.
Now, we can see the keyboard has some interesting new keys. The keys to the left are probably copy-cut-paste, plus activate voice controls, undo and emoji. What about the keys to the right? Do those arrows mean that Apple has finally introduced a way to move the typing point without users having to awkwardly move their hand away from the keyboard, try to tap exactly where they want the point to be and try to make it move to the proper location?
If that's it, well, it's better later than never. But it's a very clumsy implementation; Swipe Selection has been doing it MUCH better for a couple years now.
