1) Is it possible to have my own iPhone contact (me) not continuously get auto-updated with my Game Center user name? I see it in my contact card, delete it, but as soon as I open Game Center, it gets added back in.
2) is it possible to set the Contact preferences on iPhone to 1 address format, such as in Mavericks and all previous versions? I prefer using the USA format, though I live overseas. Seems iPhone switches for each contact depending on the country of the address.
3) When connecting my iPhone to iMac for syncing, in the section for Calendars, there's a whole mash-up of things, many of them I have no clue. Is there a way to clear that out? I'm fine with it showing my two calendars I have (Business and Personal) and I see my 2 holidays subscriptions in there (US Holidays and British Holidays). But then there are repeats with longer names:
Personal
Business
US Holidays
British Holidays
Home
Personal (______@gmail.com/icloud)
Business (______@gmail.com/icloud)
Reminders (_______@gmail.com/icloud)
And on and on it goes. I don't use iCloud and don't have any note/remindered/calendars/etc set-up for using. But the above looks like they are somewhere. Can I delete those and be done with it?
