I know it's a different case and that's why I purchased it. I use them for different reasons as I explained in my post. However, I think some users here imply that the Magpul is a very slim case when I would consider it average or slightly slimmer than average. For example, there is a thread here where at least a couple users recommend it as the slimmest 6 plus case that provides good grip. If I was looking for the slimmest case with grip I believe I would be somewhat dissapointed with the size of the case if I ordered the Magpul solely for those reasons. Although I don't have any other specific examples that's not the only thread where I have noticed this.

Regarding the shape of the case, your right, I knew that going in. It doesn't mean I can't wish it was more rounded. Like I said, I am mostly happy with it and I would still purchase it again since for me the pros outweigh the cons.

Valid points. Folks who like slimmer designs will say it's bulky. It's definitely a little heavier as well, but I like that. It feels substantial. I like the trade offs because, the fit, finish and buttons are excellent.

I find it mind boggling some people think the Magpul is bulky. It's so perfect.

Of course, I've been using an Otterbox Defender since about a month ago. So anything would probably feel slim after that.

The Magpul isn't as thin as my backup ZooGue case, but I wouldn't call it outrageously bulky.

The CandyShell Grip is thicker as well, but folks who enjoy that case swear by it's design. I think the Field Case is great. Is it for everyone? No. Cases are so personal. What we see as acceptable, others may not.

The fit, feel, grip and how well the buttons work are more important to me than how slim a case might be.

Here's the ZooGue and Magpul side by side.

I've been using primarily Spigen cases since the iPhone 5, now have a 6 Plus. I too thought the Magpul was bulky based on the pics I've been seeing. Finally caved and bought one based on all the comments in this thread. Now my favorite case.

Adding a few pics of the clear case, for the Phone 6 Plus.

I'm really enjoying the feel of this case. The grip is great and the buttons are really amazing!

That looks pretty cool! I'm not sure if I like that the logos don't perfectly match up, but its a pretty cool case nonetheless!

Thanks!:)

It would have been nice if the logo was lower, but it isn't bothering me. It could be a deal breaker for some. I enjoy that the clear still shows off the color of the phone.

How long has it been since they've done the executive case? Since the 4/4s? Those would be even slimmer since the ridges don't go across the back.

The Executive is what I want as well, but it doesn't sound as if they are going to be making one for the 6/6+. They did make it for the 5 though, so maybe they'll change their minds.

Interesting. I would be interested in checking out that case.

Is the only difference the ridges on the back, with everything else the same?

This is so true. I love the Magpul case, because it is blocky to a degree. But, it is quite slim compared to some cases, such as Otterbox.

Hey guys does the case have a opening in the gap around the power and volume buttons where dust and dirt can get In???

I cannot tell from any of the photos anywhere online

Yes, there are slots in the case along the buttons. I guess that's part of what makes them so easy to operate.

I prefer the slots. On another thread, a member improved button response on a given case by cutting slits left and right of its button covers.

I currently use the Speck Candyshell Grip on my 6+ and it's nice, but the Magpul looks great. I wonder how the protection is compared to the Candyshell.

How does the front lip height and compare between magpul and candyshell grip?
Which case feels lighter?

Just got the case. Loved it on my 4S, and 5s. Got the Dark Blue this time.
Case is actually a bit darker than the pic. It goes great with the Gold iPhone 6+.

That's Chilluly glass art in that pic? I remember a couple years back when Chilluly did a large installation at the NY Botanical Garden.
