My iPhone 6 memory and the iTunes memory indicator for the phone on my MacBook Air are not the same. The indicator on the computer suggests i have far more memory available than the phone indicates. I have tried backing up to the computer and restoring the phone, but the problem persists. What can I do?

Check your on device indicator and trust that number. iTunes number varies greatly sometimes and pretty much misleading.

There is nothing wrong on your device if those two numbers just cannot match.

iTunes has always been off for me. It's like iTunes is using 1024MB per GB and the phone is using the proper 1000MB per GB.
